I am now entering my eighth month as the Web Editor of up! magazine. Time sure flies when you are really, really, really busy.

Probably the best part about my job is that it keeps changing. The first six months were almost entirely project management—fixing all the platform issues and getting the design to a place of acceptable usability. However, now that we have a solid website foundation, my job is changing again and I actually get to edit. And it is awesome. I've really missed writing and editing.

So as I'm getting busier and busier with editing exclusive web travel stories and finding more writers to explore WestJet destinations for the best places to visit, I am really coming to appreciate the first of the month and getting a bunch of stories from the magazine that don't require any major effort on my part.
