This week's travel value tip comes from Angie Barregar about the Children's Discovery Museum of the Desert in Rancho Mirage.
The admission is relatively inexpensive compared to other family learning type attractions, and if you go more than once a year the year membership is definitely worth it. This is a great place for kids of all ages. It encourages play, imagination, and creativity between parents and children as well as offer many special programs.
The kids love it—how many places do you get to paint a VW Bug? The Children's Discovery Museum of the Desert is a great place for parents (and grandparents) to spend some time when in the visiting the area.
With a belief that "learning is serious fun", the Children's Discovery Museum of the Desert (CDMOD) provides entertaining and educational interactive exhibits to promote a hands on learning experience for kids of all ages.
Exhibits include physical activities like the Rock Climb Challenge, a How Things Work section and much more. An array of programs appeal to all ages and family programs are also a large focus at this museum. For more information about the museum head to cdmod.org.
Recently returning to Canada, after a roadtrip that took her from her hometown of Calgary to the tip of South America, Kelsey can usually be found devouring fashion magazines, re-hashing her last surfing experience or studying the intricacies of Spanish grammar. Kelsey is also co-founder of an adventure driving website.

I don't know where to write an article on this site but Westjet Thank you.
I went to Las Vegas from Ottawa/Toronto and believe it or not, the best part of the whole trip was actually the daytime flight to Las Vegas. The scenery was magnificent on this beautiful sunny day in December. If I could I would do an overnight just to see The hills and the Grand Canyon with all the marvelous colours even at 33 000 feet.
