When not carrying the dreams of a nation, what do you do?
“I have done some work at UBC [University of British Columbia] toward a business marketing degree, but I still have a couple of years left.”
If you weren't an Olympian, what would you be?
“A surfer.”
How long have you been skiing?
“Since I was two years old. It all started with skiing down the carpeted steps into our sunken living room. Naked, of course!”
Best memory of growing up in Whistler?
“Running around Tapley’s Farm with the 50 other kids that lived in that neighbourhood when me and my sister were little. I also used to love the Whistler Children’s Art Festival.”

“Southside Diner. It’s a classic. It’s also one of the few places in Whistler where you can park right out front, so you can leave your skis or your bike in the back of your truck.”
“Monk’s Grill. It is such a beautiful building, with big windows and fine finishings, right at the base of Blackcomb. Beautiful servers too!”
“The Mix. Great servers, a very chill atmosphere, delicious food and a good martini list. They also get a lot of great DJs rolling through.”
“The Garibaldi Lift Co. Bar & Grill. Inside, the fireplace is super-cozy. If you’re outside on the patio, you can watch your friends come down the mountain.”
