
Located right on the Pacific Coast Highway, this renovated three-story won’t win any design awards, although it does unintentionally channel a 1980s all-inclusive resort, which could be awesome for the ironically inclined.
But the Best Western Huntington Beach Inn's spacious, clean rooms are big enough for a young family, and balconies extend the square footage with some outdoor space.
All units have small fridges and some feature fireplaces. The complimentary continental breakfast could use some innovating, but it’s sufficient, with free parking and wi-fi making it easier to swallow.
The basic king room with no view should do most people. The ocean is pretty much visible from anywhere once you step foot outside.
