Best Western Las Brisas
Good location meets good value at this hacienda-style overnight
THE BEST WESTERN Las Brisas stands in stark contrast to the surrounding modernism. The chain’s downtown post may lack the desert city’s trademark austerity, but it more than compensates with ambiance and amenity unexpected from a budget hotel.
Manicured gardens and Mediterranean hacienda-style architecture make for a warm welcome, as does a helpful staff generous with suggestions for nearby activities. A substantial complimentary breakfast—including waffles and omelettes—is served daily.
Rooms are typically Best Western—clean and anonymous—but with the hotel’s proximity to downtown and the casino (not to mention its pleasant outdoor pool and adjoining bar), it’s unlikely you’ll spend much time inside, anyway.
Rooms start at US$79.
