FANCY A COLD one to help fend off the warm California sun? Follow your druthers to this authentic English pub, designed and decorated over time with the ADHD-affected reveller in mind.
The walls inside Cameron's Inn & Pub are like a massive explosion of beer and Brit paraphernalia: countless cans, posters, painted mirrors, electric signage, random photographs and bric-a-brac. As for things to imbibe will you digest all the eye candy, there are more than 20 beers on tap, another 60-plus brews by the bottle, and the menu features staples from across the pond like bangers and mash. Naturally, physical distractions are also liberally spread around the bar, including billiards, darts, foosball, shuffleboard, pinball, video games and a dozen TVs constantly showing sporting events. If you happen to get too steeped in all the scenery and alcoholic variety, there are also three simple, antique-furnished guest rooms on the second floor—above the bar, it should be noted.
It’s easy enough to spot the place from the road, given the red telephone box, black London cabs and an original double-decker bus, which ingeniously doubles as a smoking section.
