And if you have a speed demon in your family, there’s free admission to the Jet Ski races at nearby Regina Beach, a popular summer vacation spot among in-the-know Prairie-dwellers.

Lessons

Junior group lessons at Deer Valley are $35 per session and are limited to six students per instructor: one hour for ages 14 – 18; 45 minutes for the smaller fry.

Off Course

Country music fans can check out the Craven Country Jamboree in nearby Craven, Sask., from July 15 – 18. Martina McBride, Kenny Chesney, Kevin Costner and Modern West will perform. Tickets are $179, but accompanying kids under 12 are free.
