The chain hotels of Halifax are just 30 minutes away, but this is bed-and-breakfast country after all. Big-Lake Lodge, the only licensed hotel in Peggy’s Cove, is right on the Lighthouse Route with $100 room rates and gorgeous views of Big Lake. (902-982-1296)
Lessons
The narrow, tree-lined fairways are perfect for a shorter hitter learning to manage their game. Granite Springs also boasts a grass driving range, a putting green and a practice bunker.
Off Course
From Halifax, Granite Springs is right on the way to Peggy’s Cove, where the crashing waves, rocky shoreline and iconic lighthouse are must-see sights on any trip to Nova Scotia, no matter how many times you’ve been.

.. If I may, let me save you the trip.. This place is sooo over-rated and when you see what you pay for what you golf on, you'll understand.. it's a money grab for sure... Do they mention that they're in the Lung Golf Book.? Sounds great, but they also mention if you use the book, you also have to rent a power cart at their coarse..No one else in the book is hungry enough to impose such a rule..Try Avon Valley just outside Windsor for true value and great employees..
