Novice skiers and park jibbers win with this season’s expansions at Marble Mountain. For beginners, there’s a new surface lift (a.k.a. magic carpet) for easy uphill transportation. There’s a new novice run called the Jigger on Marble’s lower half, and, for the airborne, an expanded terrain park filled with jumps and rails, including a bright-yellow car and a fishing dory.

Deals and Steals: Three-day passes are 10 per cent off all season, and guests at the slopeside Marble Villa qualify for a 15 per cent discount on day passes.
