My name is Sarah Webb, and recently I took on the role of Marketing Director for a cool new boutique hotel called Nuvo Hotel Suites.

The hotel is a perfectly convenient and relaxing choice for a traveler visiting Calgary for business or pleasure. Our new boutique hotel marries true luxury with the convenience of high-tech comfort. We’ve combined some of the best qualities of a hotel with condo-like suites; it’s really much more than a hotel. And, we’ve got most of what you would expect in hotel (with the daily maid service and people to handle check in and all your questions) combined with all the benefits of a condo. The experience is totally different from other hotels you may have stayed in. We offer the convenience and a great location of a top-notch downtown Calgary hotel, plus the privacy and spaciousness of your own condo. At Nuvo Hotel Suites, you can unwind at the end of a day with your own kitchen and flat panel television! The rooms are trendy, yet have this sort of classic open concept architecture that I know you will love. There are state-of-the-art appliances and a fully equipped kitchen. I think back to other hotels that I have stayed in and chuckle at the idea of cooking a gourmet meal, but you can at Nuvo Hotel Suites because we’ve got full kitchens in every suite. We find our guests are so pleased when they realize they don’t have to eat every meal out in restaurants, or look for breakfast first thing in the morning when they don't feel like getting out of bed!

Our visitors will never have to track down an Internet café, or attempt to do work in a cramped hotel business center. Nuvo Hotel Suites offers state-of-art technology with complimentary, wireless Internet access in every room. Our rooms have flat panel televisions and a premium selection of 52-channels. I am sure you have experienced how frustrating it can be when hotels only have 5 or 6 channels to choose from. We definitely want our guests to be entertained around the clock. Location, location...

Nuvo Hotel Suites is quite literally in the heart of just about everything there is to do in Calgary. The hotel's location at 827 - 12th Avenue SW, Calgary, AB is ideally placed between all the major destinations and the trendy 17th Avenue Uptown District. You will love the Calgary 17th Avenue district, which is full of some of Calgary's and Canada's best restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The Nuvo Hotel Suites is really close to the Calgary Stampede grounds, The Saddledome (which is where the Calgary Flames play!) and the Calgary Tower.

Calgary is a marvelous place to visit all on its own, but there were so many other things to do just outside the city. Calgary serves as an easy home base for trips to the Canadian Rockies (which you really do have to see to believe) and the stunning towns of Banff and Lake Louise. I would say that Calgary is just a short drive from some of the most breath-taking natural beauty in the world, no question.

We are ready to be of service with suggestions for all types of visitors and their activity preferences. I usually recommend visitors check out Calgary’s wonderful specialty shopping and dining options at 4th Street Calgary (fondly referred to as the People Street) or Calgary Downtown. Some cool Hot Spots can be found our web site.

Families, in particular, love to visit Calgary’s Western Heritage at Heritage Park Historical Village or The Grain Academy Museum. Another great choice I recommend to guests is visiting The Calgary Zoo, Botanical Garden and Prehistoric Park or the Telus World of Science. There are just a few of Calgary’s great offerings.
