Ski for free

Ski at Big White and Silver Star for free with WestJet.

Not only is the dynamic duo of Big White and Silver Star family-friendly with abundant accommodations and top ranked ski schools, but now they’re a bargain for WestJet guests.

Fly with WestJet and you can ski for free the same day you arrive at either resort. Obviously, the popular short-haul hubs to Kelowna, BC, are from Vancouver and Calgary but even the early morning flight from Toronto gets you on to the slopes by late morning. Those arriving later in the day can still cash in their boarding pass for a lift ticket for night skiing (open until 8 p.m. most evenings). This deal can save adults up to $75 per person. Other new

additions to these resorts include heli-skiing, accessed right from the heart of Silver Star, and ice climbing at Big White. Four telephone poles have been roped together and then iced to create an 18-m-tall climbing wall, a big hit for kids gonzo enough to want more adrenaline after skiing or riding. No wonder Ski Canada Magazine voted Big White “the best place to be abandoned by your parents.”
