Bougainvillea Beach Resort

My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful week of sun, surf and sand in Barbados, staying at the Bougainvillea Beach Resort.The rooms are clean and well appointed, the beach and pool amenities are lovely and the staff were absolutely wonderful.

On our first day we determined that we would like to be able to bring back our three young adult children with us for a full family holiday, as it was just so lovely. We rented a car for our week-long stay and that was an experience, first because the car was right-hand drive and second because the roads on the island are narrow, have pedestrians on them, people are on bicycles and many fast public transit buses. We made it through the week navigating most of the island without mishap and only a few missed turns.

As mentioned we found the people of Barbados to be friendly, helpful and willing to give great directions whenever we were stuck. It was a holiday full of memories and hopefully we will get a chance to go back to continue the story. Thank you!
