Entertained by a 12-year-old!

A lot of people usually tell flight stories about children who misbehave, crying babies, or kids that kick the seat in front of you, etc. Our story was one of pure entertainment!

My husband and I sat quietly in the next row and were entertained by a young boy in the seat behind us. His family—Mom, Dad and baby brother—were across the aisle, so he sat all grown up with another WestJet male passenger.

Their conversation was non-stop from Maui to Vancouver and ranged from the teaching of magic tricks to discussions around school and geography. The young boy's humour and wit for his age was remarkable.

As we were preparing to disembark in Vancouver, his new male friend suggested that perhaps he would become an electrician when he grew up. I added that I did not think he would be an electrician, but that he might be the next Prime Minister of Canada!
