L'Isola Bella Restaurant

This small family run italian restaurant is a gem.

L'Isola Bella Restaurant is located just off Hwy 97 in the District of Lake Country, 10 minutes north of the Kelowna airport. This is a small restaurant, with friendly and efficient staff.

The owner and chef, Andrea DiMaggio is from Sicily, and he brings flavours of his homeland with him. His wife, Bobbi, keeps order in the front of the house.

The dishes may sound familiar, but are served with a twist. Try the Pasta Al Forna—Lasagne with the addition of peas, covered with cheese and baked to a crispy finish.

Three types of brushetta and a great Antipasto plate make choosing an appetizer difficult.

The home-made Tiramisu for desert is a favourite, and Etna's Eruption (mini creampuffs with chocolate, whipped cream and strawberry sauce) is not to be missed.

Grilled Paninis with names like Mona Lisa and Da Vinci as well as Pasta dishes are available for lunch.

Meals are served with a fresh salad and a tasty house dressing. It is a popular destination for locals, so be sure to make a reservation.

The atmosphere is friendly and the host and hostess and their staff are genuinely warm. This is our favourite Saturday night retreat.
