National Gallery Shop

On a recent trip to Ottawa I found myself with one hour to shop downtown, so headed to the National Gallery of Canada. Posters, plaques and prints. Baubles, bling and beads. Coasters, cards and Christmas. It was all there in the gallery shop.

Showcasing all things Canadian, the shop offers deals on books for everyone, games for children and art for the enthusiast. Iconic Inuit drawings on t-shirts, mugs and placemats compete for attention with large jig-saw puzzles of Canadian art and whimsical Christmas decorations that aren’t run-of-the-mill. Tiny old-fashioned sleds and miniature pairs of skis inform the buyer that this country has snow!

I hated having such a short time to shop, but found out I can shop the store online from home!
